Sunday, October 5th, 2014 - 1 pm - 4 pm
$21 per person ($15 with member discount)

Learn about the mysterious 3,000 mile migration of the Monarch butterfly. Be a citizen scientist and get a hands-on experience tagging and releasing Monarch butterflies. Learn how to help protect and conserve these fascinating and beautiful animals. This program is appropriate for ages 6 and up (no younger participants, please). Space is limited and preregistration online is required.

Day in the Life of a Zoo Vet Dr. Zoo

Keeping all the Zoo animals healthy is an enormous and challenging task. Find out what a day in the life of Dr. Ginger Sturgeon, Director of Animal Health, is like. You will get a special tour of the new, state-of-the-art Animal Care Center. Refreshments will be provided.
