Zoo Camp Ages 12-13 Full-Day
Photos for Conservation
Explore conservation issues facing some of the world's most endangered animals while experiencing the excitement of capturing a once-in-a-lifetime photograph in this half-day Zoo Camp program for campers ages 12 and 13. Using their creativity will not only get campers closer than ever to their favorite Zoo animals, but also will allow them to actively participate in conservation efforts necessary for the survival of these species. Each camper will take home a flash drive containing his or her photographs at the end of the week. Zoo Campers are encouraged to bring their own digital cameras (three megapixels or higher). For this program, base camp will be the Water's Edge classroom overlooking the polar bear exhibit!
Before and After Care are available for this class at a rate of $10 per session on select weeks (June 16, July 7, and July 28th). Pre-register only. If you are interested in also enrolling your child in Before and After Care, please call the Education Reservations department at 412-365-2528.
